This morning brought unexpected news as Six Flags revealed in their latest press release that they will be selling the following parks: Schlitterbahn Waterpark Galveston (Galveston, TX) Michigan’s Adventure (Muskegon, MI) Six Flags Great Escape (Queensbury, NY) Six Flags La Ronde (Montreal, QC) Six Flags St. Louis (St. Louis, MO) Valleyfair (Minneapolis, MN) Worlds of Fun (Kansas City, MO) Many of these parks have received minimal investment from the parent company in the pas

Kentucky Kingdom Is Adding Flying Fox For 2026 Season
The Flying Fox is a new, $14 million, family-friendly suspended roller coaster making its debut at Kentucky Kingdom for the 2026 season. It becomes the park's sixth coaster and signifies a major expansion under its new ownership, which emphasizes family entertainment. This custom-designed coaster by Vekoma includes winding tracks, drops, and a height requirement of just 38 inches. We are excited to add Kentucky Kingdom to our road trip roster next year!
