A Morning At Quassy Park

Early this morning, I woke up and went to Quassy to include their distinctive wooden rollercoaster, The Wooden Warrior, on my list of roller coaster experiences. Upon reaching the park right when it opened, I was struck by the park's modest dimensions but captivated by its location alongside Lake Quassapaug. Despite its small footprint, Quassy successfully incorporated a range of attractions, including their water park that has grown considerably over time. Upon entering, I made my way to the Wooden Warrior rollercoaster.

Wooden Warrior Rollercoaster

Quassy's latest rollercoaster, The Wooden Warrior, is the park's sole major coaster. It reaches a height of 35ft and speeds up to 35mph. Featuring a distinctive layout with various low-to-the-ground airtime hills and a tunnel at its turnaround, this short rollercoaster offers an enjoyable experience for all ages and surprisingly smooth ride.

If you have sufficient time during your visit to Lake Compounce, I suggest including a trip to Quassy as well. The two parks are located close to each other. Quassy features a pleasant waterpark and a good selection of flat rides. With ongoing expansions, I believe this park has the potential to become a notable attraction in New England.

Having completed a brief report, I will be heading to Lake Compounce later today.

Enjoy the Pictures and as always, Keep Coast'n'

Welcome To Quassy! Home to the Wooden Warrior!

Despite its modest height, the Wooden Rollercoaster is the main attraction for thrill-seekers in the park. This ride may be low in stature, but it definitely packs a punch.

With Wooden Warriors Heavily Wooden Pressence, It is fairly difficult to Photograph. The Lift Hill is on the Left and the Drop Is on the Right.

It looks just like the turnaround tunnel Twisted Timbers has at Kings Island!

No wonder why this guy falls a lot, That's not the ideal slope to sit on...

The Parks Grand Carousel on the midway.

Dora? I mean whatever your Quassy name is.... I call a poll, is the fox Swiper or Sweeper?

Nonetheless, This is the parks kids coaster is called the Little Dipper, and it also has rides in its in-field.

The Throne Chair of Quassy! With its Bullet Bowl slide in the background.

With a view of Lake Quassapug, that's all for now!
