Carowinds To Close Nighthawk, Scream Weaver and Drop Tower Permanently

Carowinds has revealed that the flying roller coaster Nighthawk, Scream Weaver, and The Drop Tower will permanently close and be removed in 2025 to allow for future expansion. This is part of several ride closures within the Cedar Fair chain aimed at cost-cutting and expansion. The park has assured that these closures will make way for a record-breaking water attraction set to open in 2026.
