Hollywood Rip Ride Rock is Closing Forever

Enjoy the rides while they're still available. The skyline of Universal Studios Florida is set for a permanent transformation with the removal of the Hollywood Rip-Ride Rockit! Universal revealed on their social media that the ride will close for new attraction development in early September 2025. This ride, launched in 2009, has experienced numerous mechanical issues since its debut. It is the largest rollercoaster ever built by the ride manufacturer Mauer.


We will miss all the hidden songs you could choose while experiencing a bumpy, yet distinctive rollercoaster ride.
