Italian Food at Delgrosso's Amusement Park

The journey that began at Knobles Amusement Park and was supposed to end at Lakemont Park took an unexpected turn with a stop at Delgrossos. Driving through the mountains of central Pennsylvania, I encountered a sudden and intense rainstorm that severely affected visibility on the road. Consequently, I decided to exit at the nearest opportunity. Much to my astonishment, the exit led me to Delgrossos Park, a destination I had never expected to visit.

Entry and Spaghetti!

Upon arriving at Delgrosso's parking lot, I immediately noticed an appealing waterpark situated by the road. This particular area functions as the primary entrance to the park and is the most recently refurbished segment. Since I hadn't eaten dinner yet, I spotted a make-your-own pasta kiosk near the entrance on the waterpark side. The staff members were exceptionally friendly, and the spaghetti sauce they served with their noodles was remarkably delicious. It suddenly occurred to me, could the family that owns this park also be the family behind the renowned spaghetti sauce available in grocery stores? Indeed, they were! This realization led me to affectionately dub this park as "The Spaghetti Amusement Park."

Amusement Park Side and Crazy Mouse

With not having time to go in the waterpark and still having to make it to Lakemont park before they closed, I traveled across this bridge that would take me over the road running through the middle of the park to the amusement park side. I would make my way to the Crazy Mouse coaster. Crazy Mouse is a spinning wild mouse rollercoaster that rises about 42 feet high and has many sharp hairpin turns and dips throughout its layout. This was the only ride I had time to get on before heading to Lakemont Park.

Overall, the ride doesn't have a stellar thrill seeker line up by any means, but the spaghetti is worth the stop as well as checking out their Italian themed waterpark and their spinning wild mouse rollercoaster.

Welcome To Delgrossos! Home of Famous Spaghetti?

Indeed! This park belongs to the family behind the premium spaghetti sauce brand available in supermarkets! The image above features a customizable pasta dish prepared from scratch at the pasta stand located at the park entrance. It was truly one of the most delicious pasta dishes I've ever tasted!

Take a trip across the spaghetti universe over this bridge that divides the amusement park and waterpark in half

If this park can get lines like this for a Spinning Wild mouse roller-coaster, then they can definitely support a 300ft roller coaster! (This is stated jokingly)

That's all for now folks!
