Scorpion At Busch Gardens Tampa To Close Forever

The Scorpion rollercoaster at Busch Gardens Tampa Will be closing forever on September 2nd. This Schwarzkopf Silver Arrow Model rollercoaster was one of the first roller coasters at Busch Gardens Tampa and features one 360 degree loop. The ride was also notable for being everyone's first looping rollercoaster when it opened for people in the area due to have a lower height restriction (42 inches) then the neighboring Python roller-coaster at the park, which had a 48in height restriction. The ride had gotten rough over the years and had a recent incident where a kid had allegedly slipped under the lap bar. The ride is a classic and will be missed. Get your rides while you can.
